Which Bronze group am I in?

Gold — how far

Silver — how far

Thursday Thaba Bosiu TT, 1 lap of 47 km, finishing at Music Box. Friday 129 km. Saturday 123 km.

Bronze — how far

Thursday Thaba Bosiu TT, 1 lap of 37 km, finishing at Music Box. Friday 101 km. Saturday 116 km.

Service points, and what you may not do

DSP — designated service point

One DSP each day for all four classes. Friday it is Metolong Dam; Saturday it is Music Box. Your own fuel here, and your crew may work on the bike — Trademore’s fuel is at the USPs only. There is no decontrol and no mandatory stop — race time keeps running while you are in it.

USP — unassisted service point

Fuel is provided at every USP by Trademore, so you do not arrange your own — but you fuel your own bike. No outside assistance at all. Your crew may not fill the bike or give you tools, parts, food, drink, hydration packs, goggles or gloves. No support crew at a USP — spectators only.

Where you refuel

Friday, every class: USP 1 Back side Bushmans, then the DSP at Metolong Dam, then USP 2 Molengoane Area. Iron rides past Molengoane but does not stop there for fuel.

Saturday:

Water and nutrition

USN at the start and finish of every racing day, and at the DSP and both USPs on Friday and on Saturday. Motul bike wash at the finish on Thursday and Friday. Plews tyre service at registration and at the end of each day’s racing.
